Your 12-Week Journey
Phase 1: Reclaim Clarity
(Weeks 1–3)
We begin by making sense of where you have been, where you are now, and what you want next. This is especially valuable after a layoff, burnout, reorganization, or long period of operating on autopilot.
Together, we explore:
Career history and meaningful turning points
Strengths, values, interests, and energizing work conditions
Leadership identity: how you want to lead, contribute, and be known
Repeating patterns: what has helped you thrive and what has constrained you
The difference between a short-term need and a long-term direction
What you are no longer willing to tolerate in a role, organization, or leadership culture
The real goal of the pivot: better title, stronger compensation, greater strategic scope, healthier environment, new industry, more impact, or some combination
Deliverable:
A written Pivot Roadmap with your coaching goals, transition themes, initial priorities, and milestones.
Phase 2: Define and Position
(Weeks 4–6)
Once the direction is clearer, we articulate your value in a way that connects your experience to the roles you want now.
Together, we develop:
A concise leadership positioning statement
A clear answer to “What do you do?” that goes beyond a job title
An executive-level career narrative that links past experience to future direction
A set of transferable achievement stories using a simple situation–action–impact structure
A target-role scorecard: role scope, company stage, industry, culture, compensation range, location/flexibility, leadership expectations, and non-negotiables
A thoughtful LinkedIn positioning plan: headline, About-section themes, experience framing, and Featured content
A networking narrative that makes it easy for former colleagues, recruiters, and connectors to understand how to help
Deliverable:
A Leadership Positioning Kit: your positioning statement, target-role criteria, core career story, and a set of reusable achievement examples.
Phase 3: Build Visibility and Pursue Opportunities
(Weeks 7–9)
This phase is about moving from preparation into visible, strategic action. Rather than sending a high volume of generic applications, we focus on targeted momentum.
Together, we create:
A warm-network reconnection plan
A priority list of people, organizations, and communities to engage
Outreach messages for former colleagues, executive search professionals, recruiters, and trusted connectors
A strategy for informational conversations that feels genuine rather than transactional
A LinkedIn content or engagement approach appropriate to your goals and capacity
A personal board-of-advisers map: people who can provide market intelligence, advocacy, accountability, or perspective
A simple opportunity tracker that distinguishes active leads, conversations, applications, and follow-ups
Deliverable:
A 30-Day Visibility and Relationship Plan with specific outreach, follow-up, and visibility actions.
Phase 4: Show Up and Sustain Momentum
(Weeks 10–12)
As interviews, opportunities, and decisions emerge, the final phase focuses on confident execution and sustainable follow-through.
Together, we may work on:
Executive interview answers and leadership stories
How to explain a layoff, career break, nonlinear path, or industry shift with confidence and without overexplaining
How to communicate strategic thinking, leadership capability, and team impact
Preparation for recruiter screens, hiring-manager interviews, panels, and internal mobility conversations
Salary, scope, title, and offer conversations
How to evaluate a prospective role using your target-role scorecard
A 90-day plan for continued search momentum, onboarding, or next-stage career development
Deliverable:
A 90-Day Momentum Plan designed to carry your transition forward after the formal engagement.
